Officially back after a year-long hiatus due to the SAG-AFTRA strikes, the 81st annual Venice Film Festival is well on its way. Yes, we know. Technically, this is a best dressed red carpet and photocall story, but we wouldn't be fulfilling our journalistic endeavours if we didn't give you the whole picture. Tilda Swinton regularly turns out look after look, with make-up always nailed and this red carpet season is no exception—case in point, photo-finish skin, rosy cheeks and a great red lip.
But, it wasn't just the red carpet where Swinton's make-up stood out from the crowds. The star's new film, 'The Room Next Door' which premiered at the festival received a 17-minute-long standing ovation and includes beautifully shot scenes that are sure to live on forever.
